The price difference is mainly due to savings on marketing, packaging and expensive brand licenses, which play a major role in original perfumes. In addition, manufacturers of fragrance twins often use more affordable ingredients, which further reduces production costs.
Despite the lower price, many dupes offer surprisingly good quality and similarity to the original, which makes them particularly attractive for budget-conscious buyers.
